A folky and early arctic Eskimo piece from found whale bone.
Titled "Man and Bear" and is signed F. Kuguguk.
It has an old Kennedy Galleries tag on the botton.
It was in a private New Hampshire collection for over 25 years.
Museum mounted.

Without question, the folkiest comb box we have ever seen or owned. Late 19th century or early 20th century. This box was originally found on the Wisconsin and Minnesota border.
