This unique miniature oil painting was actually found under a daguerreotype that was taken out of its case. The untouched portrait is exactly as it was painted in c. 1840.

Found in a house in Central Maine, south of Augusta.

This unique piece is known as a "Devil Chaser" and was used in 19th century Evangelist tent meetings to chase out evil spirits from people.

A rare "actual size" hand weathervane, wood with traces of old paint. First half of 20th century, Niagara Falls, N.Y.
It has been in a private collection for the last 25 years.

A life size carved Eagle in flight. This folky carving was found in a barn in Southern Maine and show several histories of old paint. The present surface is a varnished surface over gold worn through to a red base. It is extremely decorative and would make any room.

It is museum mounted by us, but could easily be hung from a ceiling or beam if preferred.
